Repair shops

Every customer car, from drop-off to pickup

Lot Helix answers the questions a shop gets all day: where is the customer’s car, what is it waiting on, is it done, and how long has it been sitting.

Statuses that follow the job

Dropped off→Waiting on diagnosis→Waiting on customer OK→Waiting on insurance→Waiting for parts→In the bay→Ready for pickup→Picked up

Plus on hold. Move a car to any status in one tap, color the map by status, and the whole lot reads at a glance: what is waiting on a phone call, what is waiting on parts, what is in a bay and what can go home today.

01

The customer on every car

Check a car in with the customer’s name and phone, the repair order number, the date you promised it and the work to do. The list shows whose car it is, and search finds it by name, phone, RO, plate or VIN.

02

Find it while they are on the phone

Mrs. Johnson calls about her Camry. Type johnson and it glows on the map with its spot and status, so you can answer without walking the lot.

03

Text them when it is ready

Tap Ready for pickup and a text opens to the customer with a private link: their car, its status and your number. Send a link any time, too, so they can check on it instead of calling.

04

Know what everything is waiting on

Diagnosis, the customer’s OK, the insurance adjuster or parts. Search parts or insurance and every car stuck there lights up, oldest first.

05

Layouts built for a shop

Pick a repair shop with bays, drop-off, waiting for parts, ready for pickup, customer parking and a back lot, or a collision / body shop with body bays, a paint booth, a frame rack and a waiting-on-insurance area. Or answer a few questions and the setup guide draws it.

06

Drop-off photos

Front, rear, both sides and a damage close-up before the car goes in, so the dent that was already there is on record.

07

Keys and how to move it

Where the keys are, whether it rolls, and what is blocking it in. Send spot, keys & notes texts a tech everything in one tap.

08

Days in the shop

Rings turn amber and red at your thresholds, so the car waiting three weeks on a back-ordered part does not get forgotten behind the building.

09

Invoices and pickup

Turn the job into an invoice, record the payment, and Picked up moves the car to the archive with the date. Picked-up cars never count toward your plan size.

10

The right access for each person

Service writers get full access, techs can move and check in, and the front counter can look without touching. Owners sign in on the website, and everyone sees the same lot live.

11

Look back on any job

Picked-up cars keep their record. When a customer comes back about a repair, search their name, phone, RO or VIN and see when it came in, what it waited on and when it went home.

Repair shops are priced like tow and scrap yards: $75 a month for up to 150 cars on the lot, counting the cars still at the shop. See Pricing.

Draw your shop. Find every car.

Try it free for 14 days. Set up your lot in a few minutes, then try it at the counter. Nothing is charged until the trial ends.
